The Team and the Role:

Lendi Group’s Client Solutions team performs the review and lodgement, processing, and settlement of Australian home loan applications. Composed of a small team in Australia, and larger team established in Manila eight years ago, the now 200 strong Client Solutions team is made up of numerous teams performing specialised work to support our fantastic brokers and deliver a five-star client experience.

Reporting to the Client Solutions Settlements Manager, you will be responsible for handling home loan applications from the point of unconditional (formal) approval through to settlement. This includes liaising with clients, lenders, settlement agents, and brokers on settlement requirements and documentation to ensure that closing deadlines are met.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Collect and review pertinent documents received from clients, brokers, and lenders to ensure all requirements and outstanding conditions on files are met within the prescribed timelines
  • Support the preparation and execution of lender documentation and/or contracts to close home loan applications
  • Assist in the discharge process including and review and resolve application issues prior to settlement,
  • Capture detailed notes of your activity within Salesforce to ensure accurate documentation for each file
  • Accurately monitor and track settlements within your pipeline through active follow-up with stakeholders
  • Keep informed of the settlement process and requirements to ensure alignment with company and industry guidelines and best practices
  • Answer and address client questions and/or concerns related to the settlement and closing process
  • Navigate complex issues related to titles and/or liens
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a strong client service delivery
  • Exercise strong judgement in client and file management; escalating issues internally when necessary

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience working in a similar role within a mortgage/finance industry; prior knowledge and experience of mortgage settlement and closing processes is required
  • A comprehensive understanding of financial transactions within the home loan or commercial real estate industry
  • Proactive professional with exceptional time management skills and the ability to juggle conflicting priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills with the ability and drive to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and escalate issues when necessary
  • A high level of detail orientation including strong qualitative analytical skills and quantitative ability
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Technology and computer savvy with the ability to navigate and communicate with multiple parties within a virtual environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Apply Online is considered an asset
  • PEXA experience is considered an asset
  • Experience using Salesforce is strongly preferred
